# Tabs and popups

> Read the other tabs an agent opens, close them, and see where popups and new windows appear.

## Tabs

An agent can open more than one tab. Once it has two, a row of tabs appears above the page, and a dot marks the one the agent is in.

- Click any other tab to read it. The agent keeps working in its own.
- Click ✕ on a tab to close it.

The next time you open the browser, it shows the agent's tab again.

## Workers' tabs

Tabs in a different colour, with a name on them, belong to workers the agent sent out. See [Workers](/docs/big-jobs#workers).

Closing a worker's tab stops that worker.

## Popups and new windows

When a site opens a popup (a small window on top of the page) or a separate window, such as a sign-in window or a results sheet, it appears over the page in the same browser, and the agent works in it. You see it whenever the browser is open.
