# Show a job once

> Record yourself doing a job in the agent's browser, so the agent can learn it and do it the same way.

The quickest way to teach an agent a job is to do it once yourself while the browser records. The agent reads the recording, does the job itself, and offers to keep it as a [skill](/docs/skills).

## Record a job

1. Open the agent's browser full size (**↗ OPEN** on the browser card) and go to the page where the job starts.
2. Click **● RECORD**. The browser is now yours (the button beside it reads **HAND BACK**), and the bar counts down the time left.
3. Do the job the way you always do. Each click shows as a red ring in the recording.
4. Click **■ STOP**. The button reads **READING…** while the recording is read.

> [!NOTE]
> A recording runs for a little under two minutes and stops by itself when the countdown reaches zero. What you type into a password field is written down as dots. The recording is read by the Yomates service and uses credits (see [Credits](/docs/credits)).

## What the agent does next

The chat shows a line starting **▸ RECORDING ·** with the job's name. The agent says it saw the recording, does the same job in its browser, and tells you what it found.

It then offers to keep the job as a skill. It writes the skill only if you say yes.
