Agents
Hand off big jobs
Give the manager a job for several teammates, and let an agent split long research between workers.
Hand a big job to the manager
- Open the chat with Daniel, your manager.
- Type a job that needs more than one person and press Enter.
Daniel messages the teammates he needs, and they work at the same time. A strip above the message box shows who he is waiting on, for example waiting on mina, and ticks each one off as they answer. Click a row to open that chat. When the last answer is in, he writes to you once.
Any agent can do the same: ask one to "get Mina to make the banner".
Workers
For a long piece of research, an agent can split the job and put a worker on each part, all running at once. The answers come back together in one message.
Workers only look things up: they read, search and browse, but never change files or pages, and can't ask you anything. Each worker gets its own tab in the agent's browser, in its own colour. A worker that reaches a sign-in or a captcha hands the job back to the agent.
Splitting is on until you type /split, which switches it off for every agent. Type it again to switch it back on.
Stop workers
- Click ✕ on a worker's tab in the browser. See Tabs and popups.
- Stop the agent that sent them.
- Tell the agent to call them off, for example "stop all jobs".
